Inspirational Stories
I started at JAMI approximately 10 months ago and hope to be associated with the organisation for as long as I can. My background was in the Jewish community as a professional youth worker so I am very lucky to know the role of the volunteer from both sides i.e. as a line manager and now as a volunteer.
Having been bereaved recently I needed to be able to utilise my time and I feel that by volunteering at JAMI I am contributing some of my community skills back to the community. I know that I get a tremendous amount from my time spent volunteering and hope that I am able to do something for others.
