We want you to share your volunteering stories with us!
The Jubilee Hour campaign is celebrating Her Majesty the Queen's 60 years of public service by encouraging people to undertake at least 60 minutes of volunteering, or an act of goodwill.
JVN aims to collect at least 10,000 Jubilee Hours from the Jewish community. If you have volunteered an hour of your time this year, fill in the form on the right to tell us about your experiences. Tell us in a few lines why you volunteered, what you did and what you got out of it and we will add it to our counter on the Jubilee Hour website. At the end of the year the Board of Deputies of British Jews will write to Her Majesty to tell her of the great work the Jewish community has been doing - be a pillar in our community and volunteer today!

JVN is thrilled to have been selected as the leading Jewish charity of the Jubilee Hour campaign to lead the volunteering charge on behalf of the Jewish community. At the present time (August 2012) over 1.9 million Jubilee Hours have been pledged, and JVN is determined to help push it over the 2 million mark. For some ideas of how to spend your hour of volunteering, search for your perfect volunteering opportunity on the JVN website or call the JVN helpline on 020 8203 6427, or you can visit the Jubilee Hour Twitter feed to see what others have been up to.
The Board of Deputies, through its own Deputy Network, realises the value of volunteering in order to ensure that the work it carries out reaches as many people as possible. By giving just one hour of your time, the benefit that the community realises for both itself as well as the community at large is immeasurable.
