£100 Million Transition Fund to Open at the End of November 2010
Monday 22 November 2010The Office for Civil Society has announced that the Big Fund is to administer the recently announced 100 million Transition Fund. The Big Fund is the non-lottery funding arm of the Big Lottery Fund. The Transition fund which will open for applications by the end of November and will be available to organisations with incomes of between 50,000 and 10 million. The fund will aim to help voluntary organisations that are most vulnerable to short-term reductions in public spending to make the transition to becoming providers of public services. The fund will remain open for 13 months. Detailed eligibility criteria are yet to be announced.
