Tibetan Jewish Youth Exchange
TJYE is a wonderful partnership of Tibetan and Jewish youth operating between India and the UK. TJYE’s founders were inspired by His Holiness The Dalai Lama’s request to Jewish leaders to "share the secret of Jewish survival in exile" (1990).
TJYE strongly believes in Jewish values of tsedek and tikkun olam, and affecting people's lives both inside and outside of the Jewish community.
TJYE works closely together with Longsho, the Tibetan youth movement in India, and other groups around the world to promote and educate about the situation in Tibet and develop a Tibetan informal education structure in India which encourages Tibetan youth to engage with their identity, inspire and be role models within the community.
