ResponseAbility is a brand new cross-communal organisation which provides contemporary Jewish commentary on cutting edge issues. ResponseAbility bridges the two worlds of the Jewish and the secular, speaking to both and enabling the two worlds to meet and speak to each other. It is the only Jewish organisation that engages with the issues that all Jews face living in modern, complicated multi-cultural Britain.
Our events so far include: a symposium at the Ministry of Justice on the government's proposed Bill of Rights and Responsibilities; an open debate about the ethical aspects of dying; and a round-table discussion about the Jewish community's response to climate change.
