From its inception in 1985 Castlehaven Community Association has fundraised for and built a community centre, a dedicated youth building and converted a small retail outlet into an IT suite. It has also fundraised and project managed the conversion of a 4 acre open space from total dereliction to full community use – including a floodlit sports pitch facility.

Castlehaven offers front line services to local residents, these include on site activities for groups from under 5’s through to pensioners. It also manages and co-ordinate the use of floodlit multi-sports pitch and offers a multitude of other activities to pensioners, families and children. Overall this small but high profile, vibrant community association continues to develop and respond to the needs of local residents.
