Patient visiting is the core of what we do at Radio Northwick Park. Our volunteers give up one evening of their week to talk to patients, sometimes providing the only company they get. Being in hospital can be a distressing experience and to spend just a few minutes with each patient, chatting about their favourite music can make all the difference.

As well as patient visiting, your work on radio shows will include live on air presenting, producing content, reading news bulletins and engineering.
You will have access to training and state-of-the-art equipment to help you hone your broadcasting skills.
