Registering as a volunteer can open up a whole new world of volunteering opportunities

Internships are a great way to develop skills, obtain a favourable reference and gain that all-important experience necessary to give you the edge in today’s competitive jobs marketplace. Taking up an internship in a charity will also give you the added benefit of knowing you are making a difference and contributing to a worthwhile cause.

Internships are similar to work experience, though they traditionally last longer and interns are usually given more formalised roles. Internships are often ideal for recent graduates and gap year students looking to get some experience in the workplace. They will also be reimbursed for their expenses.
