Kenwood House, English Heritage

Kenwood is a national treasure - not only is it one of London's greatest houses, but it is home to a world-famous art collection. We need volunteers to help us tell the story of the building, the collections and the estate to the thousands of people who visit us each year.

Volunteers are an essential part of the team at Kenwood and you don’t need any particular experience or qualifications to volunteer! We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers who can engage with people of all ages and from all walks of life.

English Heritage cares for and presents England's finest historic sites and artefacts for the enjoyment, appreciation and inspiration of this future generations, achieving this with pride, flair and good judgement, with a sense of style and quality, and driven by a strong focus on financial sustainability.

English Heritage protects and promotes England’s historic places, from listed buildings to archaeology, landscapes and battlefields. We look after the National Heritage Collection - a unique portfolio of sites and monuments, objects, artefacts and archives. English Heritage strives to conserve and enhance the National Heritage Collection, to broaden public access to heritage and to increase people's understanding of the past. With over 400 sites in our care, from world famous prehistoric sites to grand medieval castles, from Roman forts on the edges of empire to Cold war bunkers; through these we bring the story of England to life for over 10 million visitors each year
