London Borough of Barnet Library Service

Barnet library service provides residents with a range of opportunities, from enabling and supporting learning and literacy, providing resources for leisure and relaxation, and offering access to information, to hosting community initiatives and activities.

Library services are delivered through three types of library - Core, Core Plus and Partnership Libraries. Barnet Libraries cover the whole borough, from Chipping Barnet in the north to Childs Hill in the south, from Edgware in the west to Osidge in the east. In addition, Barnet Libraries provide a Local Studies Service, Schools Library Resource Service, Housebound Readers service and a mobile library.
