Registering as a volunteer can open up a whole new world of volunteering opportunities

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Maccabi GB Community Fun Run on Sunday 24th June at Allianz Park Stadium in North London (NW4). Before filling in the form, please read the following points carefully.

1. The roles listed here are suitable for those aged 18 and over. Please do not apply if you are under 18 years of age. Please note that the registration desk, meet and greet and start line volunteer roles are now full.

2. On the day of the event, please make sure you arrive at the venue for 8:15am and report to the Volunteer sign-in desk, located in the main Allianz Park building (not in the Olympic Bar where the charity fair is).

3. Volunteers are expected to stay until 1pm, or until they are dismissed. For those wishing to watch the England vs. Panama FIFA World Cup match, it will be displayed on the big screen and you are welcome to stay at the stadium to watch.

4. All volunteers are entitled to a 20 minute break during the day and you are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this. You can coordinate this with your fellow volunteers. A break-out area will be pointed out on the day.

5. Lunch, consisting of a bagel, piece of fruit, bag of crisps/chocolate and a drink, plus a bottle of water, will be provided on the day. More water will be available. Any additional food or drink you require should be brought from home. Food and drink will also be available to purchase at any of the food stalls on the day. You will have the opportunity to specify any dietary requirements you may have below. All food and drink provided will be kosher.

6. The roles of route marshal, water station attendant, meeter and greeter, start line volunteer and finish line volunteer all require good mobility. If you are unable to stand for a long period of time, please do not apply for these roles.

The role descriptions can be downloaded here.

Once you have read and understand these points and the role descriptions, please fill in the form below.

Please let us know the following details about the yourself. These details will be kept confidential and will only be available to the relevant members of staff at JVN and Maccabi GB.
The role descriptions for the event are available via the link above. Please note that preferred roles will be assigned as indicated here on a first come, first served basis - the registration desk role has been filled. Volunteers are kindly asked to perform the role they are assigned, which will be confirmed in a later email
All volunteers will be provided with a volunteer t-shirt. Please indicate the t-shirt size you will require. All sizes given are unisex
Volunteers are strongly encouraged to not participate in a race event, as this will greatly impact on the number of volunteers available at different times of the day. However, please indicate here which, if any, race event(s) you plan to participate in nonetheless
Please let us know the following information.
All volunteers will be supplied with lunch. Please specify any dietary requirements you have here
Please note that some volunteering roles require volunteers to be able to stand for a long period of time - see point 6 in the introduction above for more information. Please specify any accessibility requirements you have here so we can ensure you are assigned to an appropriate role
Photographs and video clips will be taken on the day, some of which will feature volunteers. These may be used in future publicity by Maccabi GB and JVN. Please tick this box to give your consent to appear in such publicity
Please give details here of any other information you believe Maccabi GB or JVN should know in relation to your volunteering at the Community Fun Run
Your volunteering role at the Maccabi GB Community Fun Run on 11th June does not require a DBS check. However, Maccabi GB has a need to be particularly careful about the background of anyone that may be in contact with children and vulnerable adults. These procedures are necessary in order to safeguard children or vulnerable adults and it is a condition that needs to be fulfilled. You are required to disclose all convictions, cautions and any relevant non-conviction information. Conviction and non-conviction information will not automatically make you unsuitable for the post applied for but will be assessed with all other relevant information
Please tick this box to confirm that the information you have provided on this form is true and accurate. You hereby confirm that you are not barred from working with children or vulnerable adults and that you know of no legal or moral reason that you should not work with children or vulnerable adults
