Migdal Emunah

Migdal Emunah aims to reduce and eventually eliminate isolation and distress, from the impact of emotional, physical, mental or sexual childhood abuse with particular sensitivity to the needs of the Jewish Community.

Migdal Emunah offers a range of quality services underpinned by an ethos of equality, we recognise the sensitivity of handling these painful situations, and provide support services through these difficult and challenging times with confidentially, respect and professionalism; these are essential characteristics of an effective service needed.

Our Objectives;

- Become an effective voice for the aspirations of the clients and community.

To act as an effective voice for clients and the Jewish community, to ensure that our community’s needs are met, their strengths recognised and that opportunities are provided through which they may fully realise their potential. Our services equally facilitate both the integration into British society and the preservation of the religious and ethnic identity.

- Be a provider of support and services for clients.

We actively promote the health and welfare of the community through the delivery of support services covering individual counselling, couples counselling, family therapies, alternative therapies and therapies for children. The service will cover our clients immediate, medium and long term needs to provide them with the tools and skills to be independent healthy individuals.

- Be a provider of education and awareness for the community.

With the development and delivery of a comprehensive educational program that promotes understanding of child abuse suitable for all ages. By providing schools with policies and guidelines of how best to approach situations of child abuse, parents the tools and education that allows for engagement of suitable conversations with their children and equips children with the knowledge and power to protect themselves. Providing education and awareness of child abuse through workshops, question panels and leaflets.
