One-Off Volunteering Activities

Schools may ask us to assist with finding volunteering placements for up to a whole year’s worth of students for anything between a few hours and a few days. We have recently worked with Hasmonean High School and King Solomon High School in finding meaningful volunteering placements for over 500 students in Years 9 and 10. We work with a large range of organisations to place each student in an opportunity suited to his or her interests and abilities.

JVN also encourages students to undertake their own volunteering campaigns at a stage in life when they are ready to take on more responsibilities and project ownership. We have recently completed a project with a Year 11 student from Haberdashers’ Aske’s School for Girls who approached us for help with organising volunteering placements for 350 students aged 11-18 in one day who, for religious reasons, did not want to attend the school’s Christmas carol concert on that day.
