JVN works in partnership with the JLGB evolve department, which now encapsulates all volunteering for Jewish young people (with the exception of the JVN Bnei Mitzvah Programme). The evolve programme works with all stakeholders in Jewish youth volunteering: young people and students; parents and families; teachers and schools; charities and organisations; youth groups, synagogues and communities; and employers and businesses.

The Jewish Lads’ and Girls’ Brigade (JLGB) is one of the largest Jewish youth movements in the world. In addition to weekly meetings of their youth clubs, JLGB also runs marching bands, twice-yearly camps, an Israel Tour group for the post-GCSE summer, and is the UK’s only provider of a ‘kosher’ Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards Scheme, which adheres to all Jewish religious requirements, and an interfaith version of the National Citizen Service.
