Jewish Family Centre
There are many ways to make a community strong.
A community is made up of individuals and families.
We aim to provide a hub for Jewish families who have children under bar and bas mitzvah.
We provide pre-school developmental programmes, after school activities. Fun Days and Holiday activities... while aiming to keep the entry price affordable.
We recognise that for some families ANYTHING is too much, and so help towards the entry costs is available.
In addition, or perhaps most importantly our small but dedicated Family Support Team is there to provide crisis support, and on going support to families in the community.
There are many families who 'fall through the cracks'. Either they don't know where to go or they feel the mainstream organisations don't 'get' them.
We are here and available.
A mum can walk in and feel reassured that no-one knows why she is coming - Soft play or Therapy. Family Support or a music and movement group.
