COME AND HELP US!
We are a modern Jewish scout group who are passionate having fun and teaching life skills to the younger generation such as; teamwork, how to cook and the very young ones how to tie their shoelaces! We don’t require any skills.
One perk of being part of scouting is the once in a lifetime opportunities you and the children can do, from the yearly camps, to sleeping in museums (a few being the science, natural history, British, and the war vessel HMS Belfast) and climbing the O2. Our group ensure there is never a dull moment.
Our group is forever growing and with the more kids come the need for more adults and sometimes our regular leaders are unable to attend (e.g. if they are out of the country for work). We would really appreciate a small group of people who could be part of a group that would try and support in these circumstances - could you or someone you know help out - obviously we realise that it must fit in with everything else in your work/world. There would be no planning involved - the person would be a pair of hands. We also welcome a uniform leader as well – full training will be given to them.
In our scout group there are different sections the ones we would like help with are:
Beavers, children age 6-8 meets 4.45pm- 6pm
Cubs, children age 8-10 meets 6pm – 7.30pm
(In each group there is at least one uniformed fully trained leader)
