Lilian, a Holocaust Survivor, has dedicated over 60 years to volunteering with organisations including AJR, World Jewish Relief, the Anne Frank Trust, and Belsize Square Synagogue, where she began in 1957 and still sings in the choir. From archive work to leading discussion groups, her enthusiasm and commitment remain strong at 77, enriching both herself and the communities she supports.

The Graham Edwards Award for Young Adult Leadership in Volunteering: Jonathan Clingman, The Together Plan

Jonathan has been a dedicated volunteer with The Together Plan since age 17, contributing to their website, database, and fundraising efforts. He has also traveled regularly to Belarus to support Jewish communities by running youth camps, training leaders, and sharing traditions in Russian.

The Maurice Wohl Charitable Foundation Volunteer of the Year Award: Adam Shelley, JLGB

Adam has volunteered with JLGB for over 20 years and now holds the organisation’s most senior volunteer role, where his impact has been transformational. As a Trustee, committee member, and leadership trainer, he has helped shape the development of thousands of young people and is widely respected across the organisation.
