Barbara Bus Fund
BBF provides wheelchair accessible vehicles for wheelchair users who are unable to transfer to travel in a standard car seat. BBF offers a self-drive vehicle loan service and a volunteer-driven service for passengers who do not have their own driver.
Based at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, BBF has 4 other branches around the UK. BBF has 10 vehicles based at Stanmore which are specially adapted to carry 1, 2 or 3 wheelchairs. All vehicles are modern and provide safe and comfortable travel for wheelchair users.
BBF relies on donations and asks that users make an affordable donation for each use.
