The British Friends of Reuth is a UK registered charity and supports the work of Reuth in Israel and the Reuth Rehabilitation Hospital in Tel Aviv. The state-of-the-art rehabilitation hospital is internationally recognized as one of the leading hospitals in Israel. It serves thousands of patients every year, with 360 beds for inpatient care and a large range of outpatient services that encompass comprehensive Rehabilitation Day Care. The hospital offers short-term as well as long-term care. Patients reflect the mosaic of Israeli society – from elderly Holocaust survivors, victims of terror and war disabled to car accident victims and young children.

The Hospital provides medical care characterized by cutting edge rehabilitation treatment within a holistic approach. Technological innovation offers patients a variety of advanced rehabilitation methods and high technology devices. Patients are referred to Reuth Rehabilitation Hospital following initial medical treatment in an acute care facility. Each patient receives an individualized multi-faceted and interdisciplinary program of medical, physical and psychological therapy. Quality of life programs and therapies are implemented for the patients as well as their families as an integral part of rehabilitation. Every year, over 1,500 patients are rehabilitated and return to their homes and communities.

Reuth Rehabilitation Hospital was established and is run by Reuth-Women's Social Service, one of Israel's oldest and largest NGOs, active for more than 80 years. Providing maximum rehabilitation to our patients at the Reuth Rehabilitation Hospital in the shortest and most effective period of hospitalization time is one of our main goals.
