Introduced to British Emunah by her mother-in-law, Camille has devoted decades of her life to advancing the charity’s mission. As volunteer hairman from 2008–2012, she brought fresh energy and strategic thinking, creating the role of CEO to strengthen Emunah’s position in the business world and to ease the pressure on its voluntary core executive and administrators.

She launched the first-ever Mother and Daughter trip to Israel for any charity in the UK — an initiative that continues to this day. She also created a life-changing programme enabling the most at-risk children from our residential home in Afula, Israel, to come to the UK, stay with host families. For over 30 years, Camille Compton has been a driving force behind Emunah, combining vision, creativity, and heartfelt dedication. From groundbreaking programmes to tireless fundraising, her leadership has transformed lives and strengthened our community.
