Carers Network

Carers Network is a non-for-profit charity supporting over 5,300 unpaid carers across the London boroughs of Hammersmith and Fulham, Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea. Our vision is that every unpaid carer leads a fulfilling life outside of their caring role.
If you are an unpaid carer who are based in one of these areas you can register for a free one hour Carers Assessment. The purpose of this is to explore how we can support you in your caring role, improve your circumstances and signpost you to relevant services. You may also be eligible for a carers grant to support you.
We have a dedicated Information and Guidance Team who provide a telephone service. This consists of helping you with a variety of different areas, from financial guidance, employment support, accessing mental health services or housing.
Carers Network have an End of Life Project that supports carers looking after someone approaching the end of their life; such as the cared for being aged 80 or over or facing a terminal illness. We provide help with will writing, funereal planning and the power of attorney.
Our Former Carers Project supports bereaved carers in a variety of different areas, from housing support, accessing financial aid, accessing mental health services or exploring community services in your area.
Our volunteering programme has paved the way for several upcoming wellbeing programmes, such as yoga, arts and poetry. Prior to COVID-19 these were held in community settings. In adherence of government guidelines or social distancing and avoiding unnecessary travel, we are now running these over Zoom and telephone.
