Dimyon is an exciting new project aimed at providing community - at first through digital means, but eventually we hope also in-person - for the 30,000 British Jews who don't have a local Synagogue. By providing a programme of regular religious, cultural and social content presented in an engaging and accessible way, we hope to empower these Jews - and anyone else who is unable for whatever reason to access conventional community - to express or develop a stronger relationship with their Judaism.

We are a project arising from the Masorti community, so we will seek to be a network and a community that seeks to find innovative ways to delivery traditional Judaism to modern Jews. We envisage our community ranging from the very devout and observant, to those who barely consider themselves religious but are proud of their Jewish identity. Dimyon is not an online Synagogue - we are building a new, 21st century Jewish community to create spaces and moments of regular connection for Jews who, by choice or by circumstance, are unable to participate in traditional Jewish religious life.
