I volunteered in the Turning Point Mentor Programme because I have experience of supporting offenders to avoid reoffending.

I trusted JVN to provide a good structure to the programme. JVN outlined robust boundaries in my induction and I felt safe both physically and emotionally.

JVN also supported me throughout the journey.

Ultimately I wanted to make a difference and I had an open mind for the journey
