Food Bank Aid

Project Coordinator - Tree Recycling

Looking for a coordinator to lead on planning, organising, and implementing Food Bank Aid’s 2026/27 TreeCycle Appeal. This will include liaising with our corporate partners, recruiting and training volunteers, marketing the appeal, and sourcing essentials materials and expertise. This role is still a work in progress, so there is room for learning, flexibility, collaboration, and creativity. This role is perfect for someone with experience in project coordination and event planning in the charity sector. There is no specific time commitment for this role, but we expect the volunteer to spend around one day a week on this project. We expect the project to last from October 2026 to January 2027. While much of this role is remote, occasional visits to events may be required. There is the potential for this campaign to raise £6,000 in Year One, but almost double that amount in Year Two, so setting the foundations for an annual activity will also form part of this project.

Not sure which role suits you or need a little friendly help? Please contact our volunteer broker at volunteerbroker@jvn.org.uk for London or Rebecca at manchester@jvn.org.uk for Manchester.
