Georgie is a well known Jewish cookery writer.

She registered with JVN in August 2022 and after chatting with her we sent her some food related roles.

In November a one to one role working with a service user in supported living with Kisharon came up and I introduced Georgie to the relevant staff at Kisharon.

She took up the role in March. Fast forward to August 2023 and we went along to assist David Coleman who was filming Georgie and her mentee, a young woman with a diagnosis of ADHD and autism, having a baking session.

It was a beautiful sight to see and wonderful to hear how both parties looked forward to the monthly baking sessions and thought of each other as friends.
