Food and Clothing Distribution to those in need who live in Central London
Helping to unload the truck of food and clothes
Distributing meals which have been prepared that afternoon by volunteers, from food donated by supermarkets
Making tea & coffee for beneficiaries
Pulling trolleys with food and clothes around Central London
Engaging with beneficiaries
You will be asked to wear a jacket identifying you as a volunteer
What difference you will make
Ensuring that over 100 people living in central London receive food and clothes at least once a week
What additional skills or experience you should have
Comfortable speaking with people from a variety of backgrounds
Comfortable with walking around central London for 4 hours
Understand the weather may change at a moments notice and the need for volunteers to follow through when committing to a shift
What training we will provide for you
The team leader will explain the protocol when you begin your shift.
What you will get out of volunteering for us
Help 4 the Homeless go out every Thursday night and there are many people who rely on them for both food and clothes.
Your volunteering ensures that not only do they receive much needed food and potentially clothing.
You are enabling this charity to continue deliver their much needed support.
