After Rob Jackson’s well received session at JVN’s conference last year, we are delighted to have engaged Rob to run another session for JVN. In this new, upcoming session, Rob will discuss how to adapt volunteer involvement in your organisation to the changing character of volunteering and how subsequently influence and win support from the top of your organisation for your volunteer programme.
Rob Jackson is one of the leading authorities on volunteering in the world. For much of his career he has been involved at the coalface of volunteer management before moving to strategic roles in the volunteering movement, most notably within Volunteering England. Rob is an incisive thinker on volunteering trends and strategy, a first-rate writer, facilitator and public speaker. He co-authored two books and has contributed to dozens of national and international publications.

Topics include amongst others:
- How volunteering is changing
- The gulf between supply and demand
- How to respond to the new challenges we face
- How to position the responsibility for volunteering in your organisation
- How to ‘influence up’
