We are running a free exciting fun Zoom session on How to pivot to virtual volunteering - how could bonkers ideas drive engagement for your charity? With volunteering now turning online, it is important to engage existing and new volunteers and how they can still help even though we are in lockdown.
This session will be led by Elaine McCulloch, Sage Foundation Programme Manager. This session will look at the different types of virtual volunteering, coming up with new initiatives and communication. This is a session not to be missed!
The Sage Foundation brings together colleagues, partners and customers and encourages them to give time to the communities they operate in through volunteering and fundraising. When the pandemic struck they had to rethink their volunteering offer and move to an online offering.
During this session, Elaine McCulloch will talk us through the ways in which the Sage Foundation were able to hold their first virtual volunteering activity within two weeks of lockdown. By adapting their policy and loosening their interpretation of “volunteering’ they are able to work with their partners to enter a new world of volunteering and make a difference.
Overview of the session:
- What does virtual volunteering look like at Sage Foundation
- How Sage have generated ideas
- How Sage have communicated this with their charity partners
- How to drive innovation
- Share examples of volunteering to date
The deadline to sign up for this session has now passed.
