My name is Jack Matthews, and I’m a volunteer. I've been volunteering for different things over the years, and I'm the Chairman of Norwood Old Scholars Association. We go back to 1964 and allow the boys and girls who lived in the Jewish orphanage at West Norwood to stay connected.

The idea was to bring this community together so they didn't get lost and could still meet up with their old friends.

Over the years, we've looked after our members who have fallen on hard times. When they needed a fridge or something like that, they would come to us, and we would help them. I believe that you should volunteer and help wherever you can.
