Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Jewish Community Commemoration Event on Sunday, October 6th.  By volunteering at this event, you will be supporting the Board of Deputies of British Jews, Jewish Leadership Council, UJIA, 7/10 Human Chain Projectand Hostages and Missing Families Forum, along with a host of other charities and organisations from across the community and beyond.  Your help is greatly appreciated.

Please be aware that this is an outdoor role that requires standing for long periods and will take place regardless of the weather, including potentially cold or wet conditions. We will hold a brief online session on Sunday, September 29th, at 7 pm, where the  sponsors will provide more details about event. For security reasons, the exact venue will be shared closer to the event date.

Thank you again for your willingness to volunteer. You will be a valuable addition to the team.

Volunteers to arrive by 1:15 pm for a 2:00 pm shift start. The event is scheduled to end at 5:30 pm, but we would appreciate it if volunteers could stay for up to an additional hour in case extra assistance is needed. This role involves standing and helping the organisers ensure that participants are supported throughout the event and directed to various activities.

All volunteers will need to wear identifying jackets and wrist bands over the course of the event. This will be given to you when your register at the beginning of your shift.

I agree to attend the online volunteer briefing session on Sunday, September 29th at 7pm, in order to meet the members of organising team and to understand how I can support them in ensuring the success of the event.

Please tick this box to confirm that the information you have provided on this form is true and accurate. Also, that you are not barred from working with children or vulnerable adults, and that you know of no legal or moral reason that you should not work with children or vulnerable adults.

Photographs and video clips will be taken on the day, some of which will feature volunteers. I give my consent for the event organisers to use any photographs or videos taken at this event in which I appear in publicity and on social media.
