The first seminar, from 10:00-11:30, will be "Top Tips for Social Media". It is aimed at charity professionals and other individuals wishing to gain a greater grasp of social media basics and how it can be used as a powerful tool for raising awareness and fundraising. Presenting will be Lilach Bullock, Co-Founder & Director of COmms Axis, who was named in the top 20 Forbes' Women Social Media Influencers in 2014. Q&A to follow.
The second seminar, from 12:30-14:00, will be "The True Value of Retirement". It is aimed at retirees and those approaching retirement and will explore how volunteering can provide a gateway to a new kind of lifestyle after work. Presenting will be JVN President Ros Preston OBE, who describes herself as a "profesisonal volunteer", and Colin Stodel, a long-time volunteer with many years of volunteering wisdom to share.
