At JVN we will do our best to:
1. Provide adequate information, training, and assistance for you to be able to carry out your voluntary task.
2. Provide you with satisfactory supervisory support, as well as feedback on volunteering performance.
3. Be receptive to your comments and suggestions regarding ways in which we might mutually better achieve our respective tasks.
4. Respect your skills and individual needs.
5. Ensure that in relation to your voluntary role you are free from discrimination in line with our equal opportunities policy.
6. Resolve amicably and swiftly any problems and difficulties which may arise in line with the procedures detailed in the Volunteering Policy.
7. Keep confidential all personal information relating to you.
8. Provide adequate insurance cover whilst you undertake the agreed voluntary work.
9. Reimburse agreed and receipted out-of-pocket travel expenses.

The Volunteer
As a volunteer you will do your best to:
1. Perform the voluntary tasks as detailed in the role description to the best of your ability.
2. To follow the JVN's rules and procedures including record keeping requirements and confidentiality of the organisation, client and donor information.
3. Volunteer at the times agreed and wherever possible inform your Supervisor with adequate notice when attendance is not possible so that alternative arrangements can be made.

I understand that this is a voluntary arrangement and as such it is binding in honour only. Either parties are free to withdraw at any time, giving adequate notice where possible. I also agree that my personaI information is stored and used by JVN for volunteering purposes only.
