JVN is currently exploring the creation of a ‘Volunteer Passport’, designed to make it quicker and easier for you to volunteer with different charities. Volunteer Passports often have a centralised induction programme, meaning you might only need to complete background checks and basic training once. Passports typically record your volunteering history, allowing you to show new charities what training and experience you’ve already achieved - or even act as a record of your volunteering impact that you can share with others, more like a volunteering CV.
