KeshetUK is the UK’s Jewish LGBT+ education and training charity. Our mission is to ensure that LGBT+ Jews and their families are included throughout Jewish life in the UK. We work across the UK Jewish community including Liberal, Masorti, Orthodox and Reform movements and within cross-communal and non-denominational organisations.

As the only organisation of our kind in the UK, we are proud to be trusted by our community in supporting them to become more inclusive of LGBT+ people through education and training, creating a world where no one is forced to choose between the Jewish and LGBT+ identity. We are proud to work with all UK Jewish communities, including Liberal, Masorti, Orthodox and Reform, cross-communal and non-denominational organisations. We work with Jewish schools, youth and young adult organisations, synagogues, and wider community organisations to become more inclusive of LGBT+ people through education and training.

Jewish LGBT+ people often feel uncertain about their role in Jewish communities, and sometimes experience outright rejection. It’s no surprise when this leads to poor mental health for some Jewish LGBT+ people and that some feel they have no choice but to leave. We believe all UK Jewish communities can do more to become places where LGBT+ Jewish people and their families can feel included.
