Kindle the Light

#30DaysOfLight

As Chanukah approaches, not in recent times have we as a community been so cast back into the darkness, feeling low in hope, searching for light.

JVN in conjunction with Kindle the Light invites you to consider how you can combat that darkness, and bring light to the immediate world around you. There are many ways you might choose to do that, depending on what energy and time you can spare that day. JVN provides numerous opportunities to use your skills to give back, but maybe today your way of bringing light into this world is smiling at a stranger, calling someone up to ask how they are and really listening, sending flowers to a friend. Maybe it's doing something for yourself, giving back to yourself to give you the strength to show up for others.

Each day from now until the end of Chanukah we will give you suggestions for how you can 'kindle the light', and if that suggestion for the day doesn't resonate another one below may do so.

In the same vein as placing our Chanukiot by the window to share and reveal the light we bring into our homes, we also invite you to share a post of you kindling the light this month, to fill our social media feeds with stories and images of time and love shared, maybe even moments of joy in the process.
