Kissing it Better is a healthcare charity which aims to raise the spirits of hospital patients and care home residents by sharing simple ideas which can make a huge difference to a person’s emotional wellbeing. We harness the energy and enthusiasm of volunteers and young people who may engage in art work, music, reading and poetry with patients or residents in a manner which helps to change the atmosphere and creates a feeling of positivity and hope. Our primary focus is upon supporting older vulnerable people particularly those with a diagnosis of a dementia type illness. Although we do also visit local children’s wards to bring comfort and enjoyment too.
