Life Begins at 60: Retirement Planning

Join us for an informative afternoon, focussing on three key areas to consider in the lead up to your retirement: namely, financial and legal planning, and from a recreational perspective, how volunteering might provide fulfilment and structure as you enter this new stage of life.

The speakers will be:

Adam Katten - Financial Planning

Adam Katten of NLP Financial Management will present a whistle stop tour of financial issues to consider on approaching retirement (to include some focus on care home costs, pensions, financial planning, etc.)

Harvey Bratt - Legal Issues to Consider

Harvey Bratt, solicitor and UJIA's Director of Legacies and Planned Giving, will discuss opportunities for wills, estate planning and Lasting Powers of Attorney

Leonie Lewis and Louise Froggett

Leonie Lewis from the Jewish Volunteering Network and Louise Froggett, NNLS's Community Development Director, will discuss the importance and value of volunteering opportunities in retirement, and will consider the vast range of volunteering opportunities available within and beyond our community
