Information about the Maccabi GB Community Fun Run
The Community Fun Run is the event for which JVN recruits and manages the largest number of volunteers every year, and we have been doing it since 2013. Many volunteers come back year after year, citing a fantastic experience and an infectious atmosphere as their primary reason.
Volunteers are a crucial element of the event’s success, and a team of around 100 volunteers is necessary to ensure everything runs smoothly. JVN is responsible for recruiting most of this team and placing each volunteer in different roles. In addition, we also take on some of the volunteer management on the day of the event, and it is our responsibility to ensure that each of our volunteers has a safe, enjoyable and rewarding experience.
Please note that this event is open to runners, spectators, volunteers, and charities on a non-denominational basis, regardless of religious affiliation. As such, volunteers are expected to treat any person or organisation they come across with respect, professionalism and tolerance.
