Thank you for applying to volunteer at the Maccabi GB Community Fun Run, we’re really pleased you want to join us.

To get things started, please take a few moments to complete the form. Over the coming weeks, we’ll keep you updated with any key information about the event so you feel prepared and ready.

If this is your first time applying with us, we’ll give you a quick call for a brief chat. This helps us make sure the role is right for you and that you feel comfortable and happy to continue. It’s also a chance for you to ask any questions.

In the week leading up to the event, we’ll be in touch with all volunteers to share final details. We’ll also be hosting a short online welcome session, which we hope you can join. If you’re not able to make it, don’t worry, we’ll follow up with a call to make sure you have everything you need.

Volunteer roles

The role descriptions for the event are available at Maccabi GB Community Fun Run . Please note preferred roles will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Volunteers are kindly asked to perform the role they are assigned, which will be confirmed in a later email. If all volunteering roles are filled, you will be put on the waiting list.

Volunteer training *

As part of my onboarding, I am happy to either attend the online volunteer training sessions for the Maccabi GB Community Fun Run, or speak with a member of the JVN team privately.

I understand by agreeing to volunteer at the Maccabi GB Community Fun Run, I will be representing both Maccabi GB and JVN. As such I will reflect their organisational values and treat all attendees of the Community Fun Run whether they are runners, spectators, volunteers and charities with respect, kindness, and tolerance. *

All volunteers will be supplied with a Kosher lunch. Please specify any dietary requirements you have here.

Mobility and accessibility requirements

Please note that most of the volunteering roles require volunteers to be able to stand for a long period of time - see the role descriptions for more information. Please specify any accessibility requirements you have here so we can ensure you are assigned to an appropriate role, or if you will need a disabled car-parking space reserved.

Photo and video consent *

Photographs and video clips will be taken on the day, some of which will feature volunteers. I give my consent for Maccabi GB and JVN to use any photographs or videos taken at this event in which I appear in publicity and on social media.
