Mavar
Mavar supports people who have grown up in the ultraorthodox Jewish community and now wish to explore options to work, study or live beyond this community. It is a UK charity that believes everyone has the right to choose their own path in life, in keeping with their identity, beliefs and needs.
Mavar was set up to ensure that Charedim seeking support from the wider community are guaranteed a professional, impartial and 100% confidential service. We offer guidance across a range of social, educational, vocational and day-to-day needs to overcome the obstacles and ease the challenges that will inevitably be encountered.
Our callers may be looking to leave the Charedi lifestyle or may wish to remain a member but explore options.
We fully respect our callers' wishes and do not look to steer them in any particular direction but to provide them with the information that they need to make an informed decision about their future.
