Middlesex Association for the Blind
Home visiting volunteer
We require volunteers to visit and support our visually impaired clients in their own home. A maximum of 2 hours per visit. We work across 9 London boroughs (Brent, Barnet, Ealing, Enfield, Harrow, Haringey, Hillingodn, Hounslow and Richmond) We match clients with local volunteers to limit travel time. Volunteers are required to assist with: * Reading/sorting post/correspondence * Assisting with general paperwork/filing/admin tasks. * Companionship * Short walks * Light shopping We match clients and volunteers in their local area. Full training provided. You would not be required to provide any kind of personal or domestic care.
