Nip in the Bud
Nip in the Bud uses short films and downloadable fact sheets to inform and educate parents and teachers of primary school children to help recognise potential mental health conditions in children.
Nip in the Bud is engaging with teacher training colleges, Primary School Head Teachers, Department for Education, Mental Health charities and others.
The first six films on the website www.nipinthebud.org were made in collaboration with experts from the Children's Services at the Maudsley Hospital who also prepared the content on the Information and Support section with its printable Fact Sheets.
More films will be added over time.
