Our mission

Central to our ethos at JVN is the belief that anyone, regardless of their age or ability, can give their time in a valuable way through volunteering.

JVN is committed to the following core mission statements:

1. To support Jewish individuals in the UK to find and apply for suitable voluntary roles by connecting them to volunteering opportunities, to ensure enjoyable, meaningful and fulfilling volunteering experiences. (We do welcome non-Jewish individuals to use our services too.)
2. To help charities and community organisations to continue their vital work by providing the means for them to connect with individuals interested in their volunteering opportunities and recruit volunteers.
3. To work to cultivate an ethos of volunteering throughout the UK Jewish community and beyond through its publicity, events and support for voluntary projects.
4. To provide support and resources for all organisations, and to not discriminate with regard to religious affiliation.
