Do you want to lend a hand and have a fantastic time too? Our annual garden party FUN DAY, featuring lots of exciting activities for children of all ages, includes a delicious BBQ and a refreshments tent. It will take place in the magnificent grounds of The Princess Alexandra Home on Sunday June 21st 2015.

Entertainment is provided by choirs and dance troupes from local Jewish schools and all money raised buys equipment for residents in the home.

We need your help for general supervision on the grounds, selling refreshments, activity vouchers and raffle tickets, helping collect the entrance fee and organising parking. The event starts at midday and closes at 5 pm and we are happy to receive help from anyone, even if only for a few hours. (We do ask for a minimum commitment of 2.5 hours.) Can you help during the morning for set-up, during the event itself or towards the end of the afternoon when we tidy up? We don’t expect anyone to help us for the entire time without a break, so a rota will be set up to allow everyone to have time to sit and relax...or join in if they want!
