Set up in 1992, formerly known as Redbridge forum, they aim to create new projects in their local area to help assist many people, including refugees and asylum seekers from various backgrounds. They promote advice services, which with their campaign work, they aim to give insight and urgency.

They run a series of regular groups for individuals, communities and professionals and work on issues relating to migration and immigration. They believe that if integration is right to work with refugees and asylum seekers, then they as an organisation can play a broader role.

Vision: To rid our society from racial discrimination and to help refugees, asylum seekers and BAMER (Black Asian Minority Ethnic and Refugee)
Mission: Provide high quality advice and advocacy services.

Their 4 strategic priorities:
1. The provision of high quality generalist and specialist advice and advocacy services to BAMER individuals and communities.
2. The provision of COMMUNITY-BASED SUPPORT SERVICES to communities (including capacity building for new emerging groups).
3. The promotion of DIVERSITY and COMMUNITY COHESION to foster good community relations, encourage civil pride and prevent social exclusion.
4. The safeguarding of FAIRNESS, QUALITY BEFORE THE LAW AND HUMAN RIGHTS for all people and communities.

Overall, the organisation is about rebuilding lives away from mistrust, prejudice, racism and discrimination.
