Wednesday 9th November 2022, 10:30-12:30

  • Gain knowledge regarding legislation that governs safeguarding responsibility for the voluntary sector
  • Learn about the wider partner-ships and responsibilities in keeping people safe in communities.
  • Consider Their Role in Safeguarding, both within their role as manager, but also in relation to the volunteers.
  • Enhance their understanding of Safer Recruitment, regarding systems as well as practice
  • Think about their management role in training and supporting volunteer staff regarding safeguarding awareness and responsibility
  • Reflect on current practice, challenges and plans going forward to enhance awareness and understanding of roles in relation to keeping vulnerable people safe.
