The DaCapo Music Foundation is in its 34th year. We offer music programmes from toddlers through to teens and adult learners. Ours is a pressure-free approach, with a serious intent to teach music at the highest level - but always with fun at its heart.

There are currently three areas of work: i) a thriving Saturday Family Music Centre; ii) teacher training courses to help musicians become good teachers; iii) work in schools offering workshops, classroom music and instrumental teaching.

We have a committed board of Trustees and the team of 30 teachers work at our Flagship Family Music Centre in North London, and out in the community in local schools and other settings. We are adding a new area of work and will start an afternoon music project for asylum seekers and refugees in Finchley from September ’25.
