The Fed.
One off shopping/ One off transport
Could you squeeze a last minute task into your week? If so drop us a line because every week we have a variety of ad hoc last minute requests from our clients. This could be shopping from a supermarket or the kosher shops and dropping off nearby or taking someone to a medical appointment one way or return. Once you've been onboarded you'll have access to these and lots of other volunteering opportunities. And you'll be supported by a Fed coordinator throughout your volunteer career.

The Fed.
The Fed is the leading social care charity in Greater Manchester for Jewish people of all ages and from all backgrounds. Since 1867 we have focused on being a professional organisation offering excellent support services in a warm and caring atmosphere.
Our aim is to improve the quality of life for the many people in need, who seek advice, support and guidance. These people include: lonely and isolated people, carers, children at risk or with special needs, the bereaved, people with mental health problems or physical disabilities, people in financial crisis, people in hospital or care homes, and people living with dementia.
Alongside support in Heathlands, our care home and community hub, we offer support to people in their own homes using our valued and dedicated team of over 500 volunteers who underpin almost every area of our work.
