The Feinmann Trust

Providing quality care for over 50 years. We provide support to those members of the Community who have nothing and nobody else to support them in their old age.

The Feinmann Trust’s principle objective is to ensure the comfort and wellbeing of old and needy persons of the Jewish faith, particularly for such of them who were refugees from racial or religious persecution. From its founding in 1947 up until 2013, this was achieved by operating the Morris Feinmann Home. In 2013 the Trustees, accepting that it was not fit for purpose going forwards, closed the Home.

On 19th June 2017, after a 4-year period during which there was no facility on the Didsbury site, Belong Morris Feinmann opened its doors to new residents after a £12m redevelopment.

The new Village is operated by the award-winning charity, Belong. The Trustees themselves ceased operating a care home when the old facility was closed in 2013. However, the Trustees’ work still continues.
