Charity

The Jewish Vegan Society (JVS)

JVS: Jewish Vegan Sustainable is a small charity that was founded in 1960. We are the Jewish community's first point of contact for food ethics, animal welfare, and sustainability. We have a thriving community and our own space in Golders Green where we have regular events each month, including cooking workshops, friday night dinners, festival celebrations, repair workshops and nature walks. Last year we started a volunteer-led food growing and gardening club. We promote Jewish values through veganism and sustainability.
